Halvard & Reyes Builders
A structured, grid-based site for a commercial and custom-home builder, styled like a set of construction drawings.
This is a sample build. Halvard & Reyes Builders is a fictional company, not a real client.
Design approach
The goal: Make a mid-size general contractor look as organized and capable as the projects they bid on, and route serious bid requests to one place.
General contractors sell confidence in process. We leaned into the language of construction documents: a visible grid, sheet-style section labels, and condensed headings that feel like title blocks.
The layout leads with the types of work the company takes on, then a simple four-phase process, so owners and developers can quickly tell if it’s a fit before requesting a bid.
Safety yellow is used sparingly, only on the bid button and key callouts, so the one action that matters stands out against charcoal and steel blue.
